  • CHAPTER 1: Personal Trainer Duties and Responsibilities

Today’s next generation personal trainers take a holistic approach to movement; by assessing members’ strengths and weaknesses and creating personalized exercise plans, they also ensure that clients are not injured during training. Personal trainers can work with individuals or in small groups.

  • CHAPTER 2: Functional Anatomy

This is the main focus of the training. The basic structures and systems of the body, the organization of the layers of the human body and the language of movement will be discussed and explored. In the second part, there will be a detailed examination of bones, joints, their basic structures, classifications of different shapes and functions, and localization of different types. In the third chapter, the functions, structures, aspects and types of skeletal muscles, the different types of contractions they produce and how they are arranged will be explained in detail.

  • CHAPTER 3: Biomechanics and Kinesiology

The musculoskeletal system is the main locomotor that affects human movement. In this course, the musculoskeletal system will be examined locally and globally and will be exemplified with exercises. Another factor affecting human movement is the mechanical rules that affect the musculoskeletal system. The mechanisms underlying these rules and their effects on motion mechanics will be explained and exemplified in this course.

  • CHAPTER 4: Exercise Physiology

It describes how the muscles, heart, lungs, and nervous system respond to exercise and training, how food and drink are converted into energy, how oxygen contributes to the conversion of food into energy, and how fatigue limits the quality of exercise. In addition, the effects of heat, cold, altitude and air pollution and the difficulties faced by athletes and members training in these conditions are taught.

  • CHAPTER 5: Nutrition

Of all the sub-disciplines of sport and exercise science, it is fitness nutrition that has had the most significant developments in the last decade. Athletes should benefit from the guidance of qualified fitness nutrition professionals who can advise on individual energy, nutrient and fluid needs and assist in the development of exercise-specific nutritional strategies for training, racing, and recovery.

  • CHAPTER 6: Psychosocial Approaches in Health and Fitness

The Behavior Change Lesson will teach you the essential tools for promoting behavior change and creating a healthy lifestyle. In addition, within the framework of the Transtheoretic Model, determining the stages of change in the nutritional behavior of people and predicting the psychosocial determinants specific to each stage, thus guiding the initiatives that prepare people for the next stage of change, as a result, it will help your members of all backgrounds to recognize productive behaviors and to move more, eat better and eat better. You will learn how to guide them to discover new ways to make healthier decisions.

  • CHAPTER 7: Global Posture Analysis and Movement Evaluation

Posture analysis; It is done in order to determine the postural deviations of the person, to create and follow the appropriate treatment plan for these disorders. Main posture analysis methods; Plumb, posture board, symmetrigraph, tape measure, skin marker stickers, wooden blocks of different heights, postural analysis with photographs and some specific rulers. The analysis is done with appropriate clothing and bare feet, and the position in which the person feels comfortable should be chosen. In the correct posture, the stress on the joints and muscles is minimal and the body works at maximum efficiency.

  • CHAPTER 8: Theory and Practice of Resistance Training

Resistance Training Practice and Theory Theoretical and practical explanation will be given on the effective and efficient use of resistance equipment used in fitness. Minimum physical requirements are covered from basic movement patterns and resistance training.

  • CHAPTER 9: Flexibility and Mobility Exercises

It is important to know the functional anatomy and biomechanics of the structures that provide movement for the evaluation of movement capacities in daily and sports activities. Evaluation of the joint range of motion is an effective parameter in finding and solving the problems that may occur, and it is necessary to determine and monitor the joint range of motion in the creation of training programs of the members, performance follow-up.

  • CHAPTER 10: Approach to Cardiovascular Exercise

Although most exercises are not aerobic in nature, emphasis is placed on aerobic capacity for members because people believe that an effective aerobic system leads to faster recovery. An effective aerobic system will accelerate better recovery and we are improving a member’s recovery ability in this training. At what cost are we improving the aerobic system and assessing how to do it?

  • CHAPTER 11: Hypertrophy Training Practices

The purpose of this Training is to present an evidence-based hypertrophy. There is no shortage of current scientific guidelines for producing hypertrophy. This guideline ranges from expert strength coaches based on personal observations (level 4 evidence) to research-based position stands (level 1 – 3 evidence) produced by leading institutions such as the American College of Sports Medicine.

  • CHAPTER 12: Functional Training

Within the concept of Functional Training for Fitness, the definition of functional training is clear: functional training is best defined as a set of exercises that teach members to cope with body weights in all planes of motion. PT primarily uses body weight as an attempt and resistance to perform positions that are meaningful to the participant.

  • CHAPTER 13: Strength Training Theory

For the emergence of “ideal” physical movement in both daily and sportive activities, the rate of production of this force is as important as the magnitude of the force produced in the muscles. Strength training aims to optimize this relationship between strength and speed. Therefore, strength training is of critical importance for the protection of movement health, which tends to decrease with aging, and to increase performance.

  • CHAPTER 14: Plyometric Training

Plyometric work is one of the working methods that improves the maximum strength, speed and explosive power of the member. This method, which was first applied by Russian trainers, is considered as an independent motoric ability that puts the nervous system into practice more than other forms of training. It is very important to adapt the nervous system to the training intensity, which is a scientific fact that is ignored in most training plans.

  • CHAPTER 15: Exercise Planning and Programming

It is a known fact that all the components of the competition depending on the training levels of the members can be achieved with long-term training programs that will be put into practice in a systematic and planned manner. Training scheduling is a long-term strategy that includes preplanned, systematic variation, training and improvement of performance. It covers different cycles, volumes and intensities within a general program. An effective training program is necessary to improve personal performance.

  • CHAPTER 16: Communication Techniques and Digital Marketing Strategies in Fitness

In the 21st century, which is the age of information and communication, it is vital for companies to introduce the product to the consumer as much as the product sold. Customers, who are at the center of modern marketing understanding, are also at the center of communication channels. Just like the development of marketing strategies, communication channels have also developed and progressed in line with customers’ requests. Unlike the periods when only product or campaign communication was carried out, communication tools that reach each customer through personalized, interactive and correct channels are used today.
